The contrasting nature of Kazakhstan and its large extent led to a wide variety of representatives of the animal world. It is noteworthy that the nature of Kazakhstan has retained its original appearance longer than other countries. The difference in the landscapes of this country determined the distribution of animals. Some species of animals spread in the mountainous areas, and completely different in the desert steppes. Rivers and lakes are an excellent refuge for many animals of this region. Kazakhstan has a large number of rare animals that are in the Red Book.

Conclusion
Many representatives of the fauna migrated to Kazakhstan from the Mediterranean and China. However, at the moment, due to the harmful human activities on the environment, many representatives of the fauna of Kazakhstan are in an extremely vulnerable state. Pollution from industrial plants, harmful substances entering lakes and rivers, land degradation and widespread poaching have led to the fact that many unique animals are on the verge of extinction. In total, 40 species of animals and 58 species of birds of Kazakhstan were recorded in the Red Book.
