Savannah is similar to the steppe, but full-fledged forests can be found here. Depending on the area, the climate can be either tropical or continental. Most of the savannas are characterized by high average annual temperatures and rare precipitation. Some territories fall under seasonal rains, when the norm of precipitation for several months is shed on the ground.
Given the very favorable conditions for life, the savannahs are distinguished by a rich fauna. Here you can meet a lion, rhino, hippo, ostrich and many other animals and birds. Perhaps the most famous representatives of these territories are giraffes and elephants.

Conclusion
Most of the savannahs are characterized by an arid climate. Animals living in such areas are well adapted to life without a lot of water, but in search of it they have to make very long trips. For example, giraffes, elephants, antelopes, and rhinoceroses can walk several hundred kilometers until they find a more suitable site.
In the savannas, there is a separate period of the year when there is especially little rain. It was at this time that mass migrations of animals are most common. During the transition, herds of antelopes, zebras and other ungulates are subject to frequent attacks by predators.
The small inhabitants of the savannas perceive the drought in an interesting way. Small animals hibernate during the dry season, as they are not capable of long transitions in search of life-giving moisture. In a dream, the body does not require a large amount of water, so the fluid consumed is enough until it comes out of hibernation with the onset of rains.
In the fauna of the savannas you can meet very beautiful and unusual animals, as well as birds. For example, the large kudu, the blue wildebeest, the anteater, the crowned crane, the sunbird and the buffoon eagle have an exotic appearance.
