Avran medicinal a herbaceous poisonous plant listed in the Red Book of the Republic of Mordovia. Its healing properties are recognized as traditional medicine, but in most countries this plant is rare in wild conditions, therefore it is protected by law. Avran medicinal prefers to sprout on soils with high humidity, near rivers and reservoirs, in hollows and in swampy territories. The plant sprouts in the countries of the former USSR, Asia and North America.

Description

The stalk of Abran reaches 50 cm in height, leaning leaves with gear ends. On each peduncle is located one flower, on the very stem can be up to 5-7 flowers. The flower has five pink or white petals. The plant has oblong seeds located in the seed box. The appearance of the plant is tender, which does not even allow us to think about the increased poisonous of substances in the leaves, stem and flowers of Abran.

For medicinal raw materials, plant grass is used. Collect in the summer during flowering. All parts of the plant are poisonous and can cause bloody diarrhea, convulsions and fever.

Application in medicine

Avran medicinal has the following properties:

  • antimicrobial;
  • antiinflammatory;
  • laxative;
  • choleretic;
  • antireducing.
  • The plant is used in various fields of medicine:

    1. For the treatment of heart and blood disease. To normalize the functioning of the heart muscle, restore blood vessels and eliminate varicose veins, a decoction of the plant is used. For half an hour a teaspoon of grass is insisted in boiled water. Throwing a decoction, add starch in the amount of 2 tablespoons. Drink no more than 50 ml of infusion a day two is a happy day.
    2. To get rid of worms. Infusion of ABran medicinal effectively eliminates helminths. The infusion of plants is consumed on a teaspoon 3 times a day with a course for 7-10 days before the desired effect appears.
    3. For the treatment of bruises. Avran medicinal has long been used to treat bruises, hematomas and bruises. To do this, a fresh plant is finely cut and adjusted to a sore spot for an hour.
    4. In the form of a laxative. In case of chronic constipation, up to 0.2 grams of plants in dried form is consumed, 100 ml of water is washed down. Such use should not exceed more than 3 times a day.

    Contraindications

    In the process of application, you must not forget that the plant is toxic. Admission is prescribed only by a medical specialist. With increased dosages, signs of poisoning are possible:

  • increased salivation;
  • nausea;
  • vomit;
  • fever;
  • diarrhea;
  • headache;
  • heart function.
  • It is forbidden to use plant infusions for such diseases:

  • renal failure;
  • heart disease;
  • hypertension;
  • gastritis;
  • deposition of stones in the kidneys and gall bladder;
  • stomach ulcer or any inflammatory processes in the intestines.
  • It is not recommended to use the product before driving a vehicle. Avran medicinal is contraindicated in pregnant women, nursing mothers, children under 16 years old.
