Despite the severity of the African climate, the number of birds has a fairly decent number. In total, about 90 families can be found on the continent, of which 22 orders. About 100 species of birds like to fly to Africa for the winter period from various European and Asian countries. However, only 6 families are endemic. Ornithologists studying the birds of this particular continent discovered that birds of a similar analogy with many species of Europe and South Asia live in it. For example, the same bird species live on the coasts of Africa as on the territory of the coastal regions of the Mediterranean Sea.

Conclusion
Africa implies a huge number of different climatic conditions from the humid jungles of the Congo, the unbearably dry Sahara to the savannahs in Namibia and the snowy peaks of Kilimanjaro. Such a range of climatic conditions led to the development of many birds. Perhaps the most famous bird in Africa is the ostrich, which, in the course of evolution, has developed the ability to do without water for a long time, living in deserts. But in addition to the ostrich, Africa is rich in extremely diverse and interesting species of exotic birds.
