Description
Black Tamarins are representatives of the game family: small primates, which are still a little larger than the bucks, but still quite miniature creatures (less than 30 cm, with a tail a little more than 20 cm). The fangs of these monkeys protrude, unlike gested towers, they do not have bundles of hair at the ears and rings on the tail. Ordinary tamarin is really black since both the fur itself and his skin are black.
There are two subspecies of Tamarins:
Black Tamarin
Redgrown Tamarin
So, red-handed Tamarins have a golden-red shade of upper paw wool. The face of Black Tamarin, like all Saguinovs (excluding Marikinov), is distinguished by the absence of hair and upper eyelashes either. Fully hidden under the fur and the ears of the animal.

Where it lives
Black Tamarins live in wet tropical forests of Central and South America: starting from Costa Rica and further, up to the Amazon lowland and north of Bolivia, from Panama to Brazil. However, they cannot be found in mountainous areas, since Tamarins prefer lowlands.
These primates prefer forests, where always on the bottom of fruiting trees and comfortable vines, comfortable for movement. These animals are daytime they get up with dawn and are very active in the daytime of the day, going early enough for an overnight stay and resting in the crowns of trees.
Lifestyle
Tamarins settle in small groups (from a couple to seven individuals), and are very severely monitoring the territory belonging to them: if animals from the neighboring group fall on it, then the owners begin to pursue them with a violent cry, up to the crossing of the borders. A high cry in the morning reminds others that this territory is not free and is protected very vigilant. And the members of neighboring flocks are very actively responsible for these screams. In the clan of Tamarinov reigns the hierarchy of Matriarchy the leader is always the leader.
Communication between Tamarins is built not only on sound accompaniment, but also on odorous tags with a wide variety of information (from gender to the position of an individual) containing complex ethers.
Tamarins are quite mobile and capable of jumping up to 8 m. They are considered omnivorous and can even eat bark and resin.

Usually two cubs are born the mother wears them on the stomach, and then transplants on her back; Moreover, the male also takes part in education. From five months of age, kids begin to get used to independence. Maturity occurs in Tamarins about 15 months. The marriage games of monkeys begin at the end of winter: males adhere to a certain marriage ritual and already by the beginning of the summer there is offspring.
At the same time, females are capable of propagation already 6 months after the appearance of offspring.
Tamarins are already able to move in two months and are trying to participate in the extraction of food.
