Manchekins are funny shorthaired cats. The rock standard has not yet been formed, but some features can still be distinguished.
Cats of this breed are incredibly active. They love playing and with pleasure can spend half a day in pursuit of the ball. Although outwardly they impress clumsy cute creatures, in fact they turn out to be very dexterous and agile.
Manthchins have a high level of intelligence and amazed perfectly. They can bring a ball or other toys in their teeth, even slippers (unless, of course, they are an adequate size compared to the cat). They easily master even complex tricks and then demonstrate their skills to the public with pleasure.
At the same time, cats of this breed do not require constant attention to their people. They are not devoid of tact and selfesteem, so they will get along well with those owners who do not tolerate obsessive behavior from cats.
In general, these cats consist of almost the same advantages. They are incredibly patient, so they get along well with other animals and feel comfortable in families with young children. Which is especially important, they are not inclined to show aggression. Therefore, various children’s games with their participation are transferred with enviable resistance to the joy of babies and their parents.
Manthchins are incredibly curious. They try to put their nose everywhere and find out everything. Owners should keep in mind that these cats not only easily open cabinets and boxes, but also like to hide their favorite things. Therefore, you should not leave bright brilliant objects unattended it is likely that it will be possible to find them already in a cat cache.
These cats are incredibly trusting and very devoted to their master, they obey him in everything. Cross, aggressive behavior and use in relation to them can cause serious stress in animals.
Care
These cats are very unpretentious and clean.

Due to its features, cats of this breed cannot survive on the street. They do not need any walks, but at the same time will be eager to walk on a leash.
Manthchkin should have an impressive game space. They love to climb, climb and jump, so they will like a special complex for cats. But it is better to organize a sleeping place closer to the owner (ideally in his bedroom, next to the bed) and not very high from the ground.
