Bulmastifs large, calm and balanced dogs. They are not inclined to manifest aggression and are distinguished by a peaceful character. This is a straightforward and even somewhat sloping breed.

Dogs of this breed do not tolerate a neglect of themselves, especially from strangers and strangers. Bulmastifs are believed to be not prone to the manifestation of aggression and carefully avoid the attack. But if the dog decides that a person came too close and his behavior can be dangerous for her, then she will attack. Moreover, it is almost impossible to escape from dogs of this breed. With its impressive mass and apparent slowness, the bully is very vague and dexterous. It may seem that with such data Bulmastif is an ideal guard. But this is not so. These dogs do not consider it their duty to protect things and objects they are more likely bodyguards. Bulmastifs will zealously protect their master in any situations, which, in their opinion, can be potentially dangerous for humans. Dogs of this breed are very devoted and are always ready to help all family members. But with young children they are still not recommended. Bulmastifa does not always get along with other animals and can fight for championship with dogs.

Like any powerful dog, Bulmastif needs a solid master’s hand. This means that you need to train and engage in its upbringing from 4 months. Moreover, the owner should treat this issue very seriously. Any inadequate behavior and the manifestation of unreasonable aggression of the pet is the result of an inattentive attitude to the dog by the owner.

Care

Bulmastifs have a short hard wool that does not need special care. But due to the size of the dog, the paws and claws should be regularly checked-they can be washed and hurt.

Conditions of detention

Bulmastifs do not like to be active and play. This is the rare breed of dogs that will lie and rest if they have such an opportunity. Therefore, if they do not force them to show activity, they will begin to gain excess weight.

Because of their character, bullets feel great in the apartment. But because of impressive size, they need a large space.
