Shepherds and cattle dogs, except for Swiss cattle dogs
Bullets are an ancient breed of dogs whose age has at least two thousand years. Scientists still cannot accurately establish the origin of this breed. According to one version, the bullets are relatives of the Tibetan terrier, they appeared in Europe with the advent of ancient Romans. The second version states that bullets along with the Magyars went down from the Ural mountains.
Be that as it may, it is known that the bullets are the closest relatives of the Hungarian shepherds the comicondors. The Hungarians themselves used chestnuts to protect the sheep at night, and smaller bullets to maintain the herd in the afternoon. It is interesting that representatives of this breed differ from other shepherds by cattle control: they jump onto the back of the sheep or jump over it.
Bullets were one of the main shepherd dogs, and therefore representatives of the breed are very active. This dog will become a wonderful companion for sports and energetic people. She will be happy to accompany the owner on a run or bicycle walk.
Bullets are very smart, they grab everything on the fly. It is a pleasure to train a pet of this breed, but only if a dog trusts a person. If the owner has little experience, you should contact the dog handler.
Bullet dogs were not only assistants to shepherds, but also by the watchmen. They cope with this role perfectly and now. They are distrustful of strangers, but for no reason they will not attack. At the same time, having felt danger, the dog, without hesitation, rush into the attack.
Bullets get along very well with schoolage children, but with kids to leave the animal alone is not highly recommended. The pet, although it is distinguished by a calm disposition, is not always able to endure children’s antics.
With other animals, socialized dogs of this breed get along quite well. But bullets, with their habit of managing, are not always ready to put up with the dominance of other pets. Difficulties sometimes arise with rodents they can be perceived as an object of hunting.
The dignity and distinctive feature of the bullet is special wool. As soon as the puppy reaches the age of 9-10 months, the hairs begin to go down into the laces dreadlocks. Without proper care, they form stiffons that cause a lot of troubles to the dog.
Bullets are not combed, and dreadlocks are divided manually to avoid their dump. By the way, during the molting period, the change of hair is almost invisible: the dropped hair remains twisted in the cords.
Bullets bathe infrequently, because, to completely dry, the dog needs about four days.
Conditions of detention
Bullets are active, energetic and adore all kinds of games. Due to compact sizes, they easily adapt to life in the apartment. But the dogs feel truly happy in nature: in the park, in the forest, in rural areas-wherever you can run enough.
For a walk in rainy weather, you should wear a pet in a jumpsuit to avoid pollution of wool and frequent water procedures.
