Character
Often you can meet the opinion that Siamese cats are dogs in a cat’s guise. They are easy to train and seems to be happy to master new tricks. They can give a paw, bring small objects in the teeth of the owner in a word, to perform all the basic commands that are usually trained in dogs. But the owner will need patience and the ability to insist on his.
It is difficult to find a cat more devoted to your master. Siamam will follow him everywhere, observing a small distance and not allowing himself to be unceremonious, for example, into a plate of his owner when he eats.
But at the same time, Siam can release claws or give a voice, showing the owner that it should be reckoned with the opinion of the cat. For this reason, it is believed that Siamese cats have a difficult character. In the event of a conflict situation, without hemping, attack the enemy, putting the claws and teeth in. In addition, they are very jealous, they get along poorly with other animals.
At the same time, Siamam needs communication. Therefore, if the owner is forced to leave the cat for the whole day alone, in the evening it will very persistently demand attention. These are talkative cats with a characteristic voice. You have to be prepared that they certainly will not be silent.
They are very high about themselves and do not tolerate a neglect. For this reason, they are not recommended to be kept in families with young children: the Siamese cat is unlikely to play with them and even more so will not allow itself to drag, squeeze or grab the tail, quickly showing who is the host in the house.
Care
The wool of Siamese cats does not need special care and daily combing, although they like this procedure and they willingly allow the owners to comb and iron themselves.
Which really requires increased attention from the owner is the ears and eyes of a cat. They should be regularly cleaned with cotton swabs, and at the slightest hint of inflammation or with abundant lacrimation, immediately seek a consultation with a specialist.
Siamas often have problems with teeth. Therefore, the owner should not only inspect them regularly, but also cleaned with a special brush and pasta. In addition, you can use special cleansing bones and rubber toys that the cat could nibble.
Conditions of detention
Siamese cat is very independent. Therefore, she needs her own space in which she can take a break from prying eyes. It is better to equip her with a highrise house: a cat sees everything and controls the situation from there, getting it is not easy, and she feels safe.
Cats of this breed are quite active, so they need to give the opportunity to throw out energy: they need to play with them, and also take out a walk on a leash.
