Ukraine is a state that is quite remote from the oceans. The territory has a plain character. In connection with these circumstances, the country’s climate is considered moderately content.
However, the territories of the state are characterized by very serious differences in such indicators as:
All four seasons of the year are pronounced in this climate zone. Solar radiation the fundamental factor of the process of climate formation. Climate indicators can be confidently attributed to: air temperature, atmospheric pressure, precipitation, direction and wind power.
Features of the temperature regime
It is important to note that the temperature regime in Ukraine has some fluctuations. Air temperatures in the winter are negative-on average 0 …7s. But the average indicators of the warm season are: +18 … +23C. The temperature changes are manifested in different ways in each region of the state.
The most precipitation can “boast” the Carpathian mountains. Here they are at least 1600 mm per year. Regarding the rest of the territory, the numbers are much lower: they range from 700-750 mm (northwestern part of the state) and 300-350 mm in the southeastern region of the country. However, there are arid periods in the history of this state.
It is important to note that 65-70% is an air humidity indicator (average annual). In the summer, a decrease to 50%occurs, serious evaporation of moisture is noted. As a result of all this, the number of precipitation falls rapidly increases. The process of accumulation of moisture falls on such seasons as autumn, winter and spring.
Climate of Ukraine
Conditions and climatic features are favorable for agriculture. Ukraine is not overtaken by such natural phenomena as storms, tsunami and earthquakes. However, some unpleasant climatic conditions take place strong rains, hail, fog. Frosts are possible, as a result of which the percentage of productivity is rapidly reduced. Ice an ordinary phenomenon for winter in this country. With some regularity, arid periods occur (every three years).
It will also be useful to note the risk of such a phenomenon as the convergence of avalanches. This feature is characteristic of the country’s mountainous areas. Another distinguishing feature of the climate of this state is the floods. They happen very often in the western regions.
