Types of growing

Growing from seeds

Waterfloor plants can be bought in specialized stores, but you can easily sow them yourself. Spring is the best time for sowing a water column. It is advisable to sow the seven of the water collection right in the desired place, this will save you from the need to transplant them later.

If desired, you can also grow a perennial in the room, while germination requires a temperature of 17 ° C to 20 ° C. Since the germination time is about 6 weeks, the sowing of the water column in the room should be carried out in March. By the time of transplantation to the street, these plants will have a sufficient size.

If there is a water column in the garden, it will multiply by selfsowing: its seeds ripen on the plant, then fall out and immediately begin to germinate. The propagation of the water collection occurs on its own, unless the amateur gardener does not interfere. However, if you leave the reproduction to your water collections yourself, you will not regret it: by Samosev, new hybrids are formed again and again, so a colorful flower bed is guaranteed every year.

Water seedlings ripen in July and August. If you plan to sow next year, you must remove the seeds and store them in a protected, dry place.

Growing from the store

If you still do not want to bother yourself with a sowing water column, you can also buy this plant: the water bribe is sold in specialized stores. So that the water fire finds optimal conditions on the home bed, it should first prepare it. This means that the earth should be very well loosened; Weeds and stones should be removed. As soon as all the preparation is completed, the Earth should be enriched with compost; If the soil is very clay, it is desirable to mix it with leaf compost.

If you want a more structured arrangement of your seats, you must plant them in small groups. Depending on the size of the existing space, the amount of three to ten plants is suitable for this. However, it should be noted that the water bribe looks beautiful, but as a single plant has not proven itself. For this reason, a group of seats should be placed next to other plants, preferably with those perennials who bloom at the end of the year. Please make sure that perennials are not too close to each other, otherwise they will have no place necessary for development.
