Character
Dalmatians (also sometimes called Dalmatians) are a breed with an interesting history. These dogs were considered a symbol of the Roman Catholic Church, were favorites of the nobility, they were depicted on frescoes. But few people know that these graceful animals were also actively used for various types of work: for example, they accompanied carriages and helped coachmen manage horses, moving between them.
Dogs of this breed are very sociable. Therefore, it is so important to pay attention to the socialization and education of puppies at an early age. Otherwise, the dog can be aggressive and very stubborn.

Dalmatians are companion dogs. They cannot imagine their life without communication with the owner. They can yearn and worry up to illness with a lack of attention and a long absence of the owner. At the same time, the reaction to strangers may be different depending on the degree of socialization of the dog. In most cases, Dalmatians are friendly with strangers, easily come into contact with them. Sometimes Dalmatians are even called psychologist dogs. They are very sensitive to changes in a person’s mood and skillfully adapt to it.
Dogs of this breed learn easily and quickly. They grab everything on the fly. Intelligence is the main feature of this breed. Dalmatins not only have excellent memory, but also know how to apply the previously accumulated experience. That is, if a situation has occurred in the dog’s life, you can be sure that when it repeats it, the dog behaves the same as last time, if the experience was successful, or, conversely, change its strategy if the past result is its result Not arranged.
With their high intellectual abilities, Dalmatins need a confident owner who will devote a lot of time to training and education. In this case, dogs of this breed turn into ideal pets friendly, playful, sociable and not prone to manifestation of aggression. But if a puppy is not given due attention in childhood, then a Dalmatian can easily become a punishment for the owner: a dog with age can stop controlling itself, become nervous and aggressive.
With proper education and socialization, Dalmatins get along well with other animals and are great for families with young children. The problem may arise if you try to start two males: both will be prone to dominance, and then it will not do without conflicts.
Care
Dalmatins have a short hard six, which sinks all year round, so it is regularly recommended to comb them with a hard brush.
Dogs of this breed from early childhood should be accustomed to cutting claws. If you do not follow this, then the claws will grow and deliver serious inconvenience to the dog.
Conditions of detention
Dalmatins do not tolerate routes they are very mobile and walk with pleasure for a long time. These dogs have a very high level of adaptability and feel great in a city apartment. But only if they receive enough attention from the owner and they can throw out the accumulated energy during a walk.
