In the context of global environmental problems, people should be taught to protect the nature from childhood, because many of the difficulties associated with the environment are not alien to every person. These are air and water pollution, global warming and acid rain, the greenhouse effect and biodiversity loss, deforestation and the problem of municipal solid waste, and much more. If you look at the essence of the problem, you can realize that most environmental disasters happen through the fault of the people themselves, which means that it is only in our power to stop it. In order for no one to be bypassed by the problems of preserving the biosphere, starting from early childhood, it is necessary to instill a love for nature and cultivate an ecological culture. Parents and kindergarten teachers should work with kids, and teachers at school. The future of our planet will depend on how they conduct environmental education for children.

Methods of environmental education

Teachers affect the formation of perception of reality in children from the point of view of environmental culture and instilling in them the values ​​of nature. For this, various methods of education and education are used:

  • the formation of consciousness, for which exercises, examples and beliefs are performed;
  • the formation of experience with the help of experiences, awareness and introspection as a result of life;

    In the course of environmental education, it is important that various forms and methods are used not only at school and in extracurricular activities, but also at home. It is worth remembering that it is the parents who set an example for their children, which means that the banal rules (do not litter on the street, do not kill animals, do not tear plants, hold subbotniks) can be taught to children at home, giving them a good example of their own behavior. The combination of various forms and methods of environmental education will help to form conscious and responsible members of society, on which the well-being of our planet will depend.
