The Kuril Bobtail is an aboriginal breed that was formed without human intervention, so cats have a well-developed hunting instinct. They have fairly developed hind legs that allow animals to overcome high barriers. A kitten at the age of two months can jump two meters high. At the same time, with proper upbringing, you will never see wallpaper ripped off by smoke or a broken vase. But, if suddenly the owner still had to punish the pet, the cat will not be offended or take revenge, there is no rancor in the character of the Kuril Bobtail. On the contrary, she will do everything to ensure that the owner forgives her.
Representatives of the breed love children, and many of them become excellent nannies. Bobtail gets along well with animals in the house due to its sociable disposition and friendliness.
Care
Short-haired Bobtails need to be brushed with a massage brush, because, due to the harsh conditions of formation, representatives of the breed have a thick undercoat.
The Kurilian Bobtail is not afraid of water, but still does not like to swim. Bathe the animal as needed.
Conditions of detention
Kurilian Bobtails are naturally very active animals, so they need space to play. The optimal condition for their maintenance is a private house. Bobtail is interested in all sorts of entertainment: balls that he can bring, toys designed for dwarf dog breeds, ropes all this will be taken with pleasure.
The Kurilian Bobtail is in good health. However, you should be careful about your pet’s diet. Mineral and nutrient imbalances can lead to digestive disorders.
