Mechetkhvost a photo, a description where it lives | Is the municipal system dangerous for humans?

Mechetkhvost is a fossil creature that lived on Earth even more than 200 million years ago. Its remains are found in ancient layers of archaeological excavations, and living swordsmen can be found anywhere from the Russian Far East to North America.

Who is a swordtoed?

Outwardly, the swordsman looks peculiar. The observer’s gaze is available only a large horn shield reaching 60 centimeters in diameter and a straight long tail. The “back” side of the creature reveals many paws, the structure of which is suspiciously resembles insects. According to the biological classification, the mecchastost is a relative of spiders, but it is a purely sea resident. Mechetic highs feed on mollusks, various aquatic worms and algae.

This arthropolist got its name because of the shield and tail. The latter, by the way, is equipped with a dangerous weapon. At the end there is a sharp spike, which the mascot defends, striking and cutting strokes. In addition to injuries, the creature is able to “reward” the offender with poison, causing inflammation and allergic reactions.

The structure of the mecchwost

The marthelian consists of three parts the head, abdomen and tail. The first two have the top coating in the form of strong horn shields. Thanks to the lack of connections between the shields, the shell of the swordsman does not constrain its movement and allows you to easily move.

Five pairs of limbs drive in the motion. This “crab” is very strong, and thanks to the special shape of its shield, it is able to move through wet sand, being buried in it a few centimeters. With this method of movement, the swordsman, as it were, “plows” the sand, leaving behind a impressive furrow.

In general, the Mechanized Station has six pairs of limbs that have a variety of functionality. The front are the smallest. These are the socalled Helicers intended to grind food. Four pairs of running legs are equipped with claws. There is also a special pushing pair, which allows the swordscent to start from the seabed and swim.

The lifestyle of the mecchwost

Mechetkhvost is a marine creature, which is why many consider it a crab. It lives at depths of 10 to 40 meters, adhering to the bottom sections with a deep silt layer. The life expectancy of Mecchnowater reaches twenty years, so they become sexually mature only by the tenth year of life.

The “spawning” of the municipal system occurs on land. Perhaps this is the only reason that can make him leave the sea. Propagation occurs by layering tiny eggs, more similar to caviar. Maximum egg diameter 3.5 mm. Masonry is carried out in the prepared sandy fossa, where the female mesh highwater can lay up to 1,000 eggs.

Amateurish communication with a marthest can lead to injuries. As mentioned above, it is protected by a sharp spike at the end of the tail and is able not only to stab, but also to inject poison. For a healthy person, this poison is not fatal, but it can cause an allergic reaction.

At the same time, people learned to use the swords for good purposes. From his blood, a substance used to check medications for sterility is distinguished. To obtain a substance, the mecchtail is caught and “gives blood”. Later it is returned to the will, to the natural environment.

If you recall the expression “blue blood”, then this. It includes a large amount of copper, which gives it a natural blue color. Perhaps this is the only essence of such sizes that does not even have shades of red in its main, vital, liquid.
