The relief and nature of Siberia is heterogeneous throughout the territory. Scientists identify such natural areas as the West Siberian Plain, the Central Siberian Plateau, mountain ranges of Eastern and Southern Siberia. Among the most beautiful Siberian objects of nature, it is worth mentioning Lake Baikal, the Valley of Volcanoes, the sanctuary of the Tomskaya Pisanitsa, the Vasyugan swamp.
Flora of Siberia
Lichen, moss, various herbs, small shrubs grow in the forest-tundra and tundra zone. The forest zone in Siberia is diverse. There are dark coniferous forests with spruces, fir and Siberian cedar. The main representative of the light coniferous taiga is the Dahurian larch. As for the mountain slopes, the foothills are the steppe and alpine meadows, which create an incredibly beautiful mosaic of the landscape. Tundra is located high in the mountains, and at the very top there are placers of stones. Here you can find such plants as the large-flowered slipper, small megadenia, Baikal anemone, high lure.

Fauna of Siberia
Lemmings, arctic foxes, reindeer live in the tundra zone. In the taiga you can meet wolves, squirrels, brown bears, musk deer (artiodactyl deer-like animal), sables, elks, foxes. There are a lot of badgers, beavers and Dahurian hedgehogs, Amur tigers and muskrats in the forest-steppe.

In Eastern Siberia, the animal world is slightly different from other territories. Roe deer and bears, martens and wild boars, moose and lynx, martens and fur animals live here. Huge populations of catfish, pike, pink salmon, trout, taimen, salmon are found in the rivers.
