The nature of the Crimean peninsula is unique. Its territory can be divided into three zones:

In the forest-steppe zone, pear, juniper, linden, dogwood, ash, hazel, hawthorn, beech, pistachios, pontic needles grow.
In oak forests there are maple and mountain ash, linden and hornbeam, hazel.
In beech and hornbeam forests, in addition to the main tree species, there is a yew berry, Steven’s maple, and among the herbs the Crimean wolf, taiga wintergreen, lady’s slipper.
Juniper, oak and shiblyak forests grow in the coastal zone, among which magnolia, Italian olive, pyramidal cypress, figs grow.
Poisonous plants of Crimea

A huge number of insects live in the Crimea. Among insectivores there are hedgehogs, shrews (shrews and shrews).
