Character
The Russian Tsvetnaya Bolonka, despite such an aristocratic name, was bred from outbred dogs. The fact is that in the 1950s in Leningrad, at dog breeding clubs, sections of small decorative dogs appeared, which very quickly gained popularity. Some researchers claim that these were Shih Tzu and Bolognese without documents, others say that they were simple dogs without a breed. One way or another, and the breeders in love with animals decided to create a special breed on their basis, which they called so the Russian colored lapdog for the similarity with their foreign “sister”. Their main difference is color: the Russian colored lapdog can be of any color, except for white.
Russian color Blinka differs from other little pets with its manners. This is a calm, balanced and gentle dog without neuroses. She treats her owner reverently and tenderly and is ready to make happy not only lonely elderly people, but also families with children.
Russian colored lapdog is intelligent. She will never bark in vain: something really serious must happen for the dog to give a voice. In addition, representatives of the breed have an innate cleanliness. They definitely won’t wallow in the mud on a walk.

Colored lapdogs, despite their quiet disposition, still need education. In particular, the dog needs to be socialized to avoid behavior problems in society. But to train pets of this breed is a pleasure: smart and curious, they strive to please their master in everything.
Like any other decorative dog, the colored lapdog is dependent on the attention of the owner. At the same time, she is unobtrusive, although she will never refuse hugs and affection.
Colored Russian lapdog is great with children, she is always ready to support their games and pranks. Only a child must follow the rules of communication with a dog, because it is very easy to injure a miniature lap dog.
Representatives of this breed get along well with all animals, including cats, birds and rodents. These dogs do not have a pronounced hunting instinct, so they can easily tolerate living together in the same territory.
