    The history of the Rough Collie is closely intertwined with its closest relative, the Rough Collie. These English dogs were considered one breed until the second half of the 19th century. By the way, in the United States of America, the Rough Collie and the Rough Collie still belong to the same breed.

    Like the Rough Collie, the Rough Collie is a highly intelligent and intelligent dog. Balanced temperament is combined in it with playfulness and activity. At the same time, short-haired collies, according to breeders, are more energetic and sonorous compared to their relatives. These dogs controlled herds of sheep with the help of their voices, the habit of barking and “talking” remained with them today.

    The Rough Collie is a peaceful dog, and although it treats strangers with distrust, it will not use force.     Care

    The shorthaired collie, unlike its longhaired relative, does not require careful care from the owner. It is enough to wipe the dog just once a week with a wet hand or a towel to get rid of the fallen hairs. During the molting period, the pet is combed out twice a week with a massage brush-comb.

    Conditions of detention

    A large collie can get along in a city apartment, subject to sufficient physical activity. The dog is walked at least 2-3 times a day, and it is recommended to allocate at least an hour each time.
