Brief information
Character
Petersburg Sphinx is an affectionate, flexible, energetic and friendly animal that will never show aggression to other animals or people. Nevertheless, he has a hunting instinct, so he will be happy to chase birds or rodents.

Peterbold is very vulnerable, he tolerates loneliness hard, needs constant attention and communication with the owner. Sphinx loves to follow his actions, sit nearby, sleep in the same bed with him. Despite such a high affection, Peterbolds can sometimes not be in the mood, and at such moments you should not start the games with them, pick up or iron. If several Peterbolds live in the house, they will always be next to each other.
These cats are very curious, and therefore do not be surprised that they will explore the cabinets, climb furniture, open and check the boxes, thoroughly study all the premises in the house. At the same time, Peterbolds are educated and unbearable, so they will not spoil the furniture.
Representatives of this breed can be called “talkative”: if they need to get something, they will certainly give a voice and will not stop meowing until they receive the desired. Such a cat is not suitable for those who would like to have a silent pet in the house.
Care
Like other bald cats, the St. Petersburg Sphinx sweats greatly, its skin quickly gets dirty, since a sticky brown plaque is released through it, which must be wiped with damp cloths or a special lotion. In addition, the skin of Peterbold must be periodically lubricated with a moisturizing cream. It must be bathed once a week and at the same time ensure that after the procedure it is wiped dry, and there are no drafts in the room so that the pet does not catch a cold.
Most of the representatives of this breed have no eyelashes, so in the eyes more than other breeds of cats discharge accumulates that must be wiped every day.
Direct sunlight can burn the delicate skin of Peterbold, but moderate sun baths will not only not damage the pet, but even benefit.
Conditions of detention
Due to the lack of wool, this cat does not like cold and does not tolerate it badly, which is why you need to make sure that there are no drafts in the house and the temperature comfortable for the animal is always maintained. If a private house meets these conditions, then it can become a place of residence of the St. Petersburg Sphinx just like a city apartment.
For the same reason the lack of wool Peterbolds have increased heat transfer and accelerated metabolism, so they need to be fed more than ordinary cats. And, in order not to overfeed the pet, the accurate volume of power will help to calculate the veterinarian.
This design is spectacular! You most certainly know how to keep
a reader amused. Between your wit and your videos, I was almost moved to start my own blog (well,
almost…HaHa!) Wonderful job. I really enjoyed what you had to say, and more than that,
how you presented it. Too cool!
