Character
The Erdelter Sea was brought out relatively recently: the first references to it are found in the tribal records of the club of dog breeders closer to the end of the 19th century. The place of birth of the breed is considered the Air River Valley in the County of Yorkshire in the UK.
Erdeli (they are also called “kings of terriers”) active, funny and often very funny satellites of a person. Nevertheless, this is not the simplest breed in terms of education, so inexperienced dog breeders can regret their choice.
In the character of the Erudelterers, activity is distinguished. These dogs are very fond of movement, fresh air and long walks with your favorite owner. It is unlikely that the PSU will be comfortable in the cramped city apartment. Erdeli, however, like many dogs, tend to gnaw objects and dig ground (often right in the middle of a luxurious flowerbed). They also have a very strong hunting instinct, so they may not get along with cats and other small pets.
Erudelterers are tightly tied to their owners and their families, but they tend to divide people into their own and outsiders. Finding a common language with a dog is not difficult, you just need to show goodwill. Dogs of this breed will become good defenders and guards at home.
Erdeli are in aggressive, but due to obstinacy they often refuse to recognize a person for the main. They strive for dominance, so it is important for the owner to immediately put a rebellious dog in place. If you are not confident in your abilities, it is better to seek advice to a professional dog handler.
These dogs are remarkably trained, they are capable and grasp everything on the fly. However, they can be distracted from classes due to curiosity, liveliness and the same stubbornness. If Erdel was bored or for some reason decided that he did not need training, it would not be easy to convince him.
Dogs get along well with small owners, are happy to play active games with them and usually patiently endure their “affection”. It is important to explain to the child how to behave with the dog, because the Erudelter is not endlessly in patience. You can’t categorically leave babies unattended with a dog: a large dog can harm the child even involuntarily (for example, crush or step).
Care
So that the pet is always healthy and looks attractive, you should follow some recommendations for caring for it. After walking, it is necessary to wash off dust and dirt from the paws and muzzles of the dog, and after washing the dog should be wiped well. The time for these procedures will help save a good dog overalls.
Erdel wool should be combed at least once every few days. To do this, it is better to choose a special metal comb for dogs that does not injure the skin.
Particular attention should be paid to care for the luxurious beard of Erudelterier. After eating, it must be cleaned or wiped with a damp cloth, and about once a month cut and trimmed.
It is necessary to monitor the condition of the claws, teeth, eyes and ears of the pet and clean them as they become contaminated. Usually claws in dogs are stuck on their own, but if this does not happen, they must be cut.
Conditions of detention
Because of his activity, the Erudelter feels best in rural areas. In the city of Erudelter, it is comfortable only if frequent and active walks.
