The pulp of the Red Book is a singleleaf photo and description

Oneleaf pulp belongs to inconspicuous plants. Its height varies from 12 to 40 cm. In certain areas, the plant is listed in the Red Book in the category “under the threat of disappearance”. A feature of the pulp is pseudobulb, which is located at the base of the stem.

Description and distribution of plants

The one-leaf pulp in most cases has one sheet (very rarely two) lanceolate or egg-shaped type, as well as a spike-shaped inflorescence with greenish, nondescript 15-100 flowers with a diameter of about 4 mm. The lip has a slightly triangular, directed shape with a notaking base. The flowering of the herbaceous perennial falls in July, fruiting begins in August.

You can find the location of the plant in the Murmansk region, Central Karelia and Finland. The plant is also found in Siberia, in the Far East, North America and Europe. As a rule, the pulp prefers to grow in thickets and willows, therefore it is easy to find it at the roadsides of the roads, in the places where houses were destroyed, on the dumps of the soil and the banks of the ponds of park zones.

Features of growth

The pulp belongs to perennial plants and is part of the orchid family. The representative of the flora has a short rhizome and corm. Insects pollinate the flowers, reproduction is carried out using seeds. To make a seed, a mushroom-symbiont must be nearby. The most favorable growth conditions are considered moderately shaded and moistened areas with well-aerized sandy loam or sand-cord soil.

Due to the limited area of many settlements and the constant development of land with new structures, biotips are gradually destroyed and in some regions are on the verge of disappearance. In addition, a one-leaf pulp refers to plants with low competitive ability, which is why, in natural conditions, it is possible to destroy a large number of representatives of the family orchid.

Measures to protect the endangered type

At this stage, a oneleaf pulp is listed in the Red Book in many regions of the country. But, as practice shows, this is not enough, therefore it is necessary to look for new populations, to carry out full monitoring of the species and carry out introduction of plants on the site of the Amur branch in Blagoveshchensk. The approximate total number of pulp is about 200 copies.
