The Red Book of Crimea animals, plants, birds and mushrooms | Photos and description

Crimea is one of the most beautiful regions that gave the world natural diversity. This is a huge area that retained its wealth of beauty and the variety of representatives of the flora and fauna. However, the rapid development of progress has affected this corner of the world. Poachers, construction, deforestation, climate change the reasons for a decrease in the population of many species of animals.

The latest edition of the Red Book was published in 2015. The document tells about 405 taxa, who need protection. All presented plants and animals are under guard. Hunting and catching representatives of the living world from the Red Book is punishable in accordance with the legislation. Usually, this is a large cash fine. But in case of violation of the law, imprisonment faces again.

Until 2015, the Red Book of Crimea did not exist, so its release became a landmark event for the region. This is not just a list of rare taxa, but a document that is designed to tell about vulnerable representatives of Flora and fauna.

Crimea is one of the few centers of natural diversity. Due to the territorial position, due to the reliefs, climatic conditions, partial isolation from the continent, comfortable conditions are provided for most types. And the rarest ones are protected.

Conclusion

Crimea is of great value for the world due to the level of preservation of natural conditions. In each part of the territory there is a place where the untouched nature remains. The creation of the Red Book of Crimea will serve the protection of nature, and also point out the most vulnerable places so that humanity takes measures to save and restore resources.

Despite the excellent natural conditions, a decrease in the population of some species is impossible or very difficult to stop. But by common efforts you can try to improve the conditions of existence for species that need protection.

The taxes taken into account in the Red Book of Crimea vary in categories depending on the degree of threat. Thus, on the pages, conditionally disappeared, rare, restored plants and animals are represented. Each category contains special protection requirements.

Some of them are no longer found in the wild. Recent copies are placed in reserves under protection. And this threatens other species. To provide protection, the law is prohibited from hunting for imagination. In addition, all kinds of measures are being taken to eliminate the threat to taxa and preserve the natural conditions of Crimea.
