The Red Book of Ukraine animals, plants, birds, fish | Photos and description

The Red Book of Ukraine is designed to summarize the information about the present position of the taxa, which faces the disappearance. Based on the information presented, measures are developed aimed at the protection, reproduction and rational application of these types.

Before the collapse of the USSR in Ukraine there was no its own red book. The document was called the “Red Book of the Ukrainian SSR”. After the Law on the Red Book in 1994 was adopted by the Ukrainian government, the first volume was issued that became an official document. It was narrated about dying species, the range of which involves being on the territory of Ukraine.

In 2009, a relevant edition was released. At the moment, more than 550 representatives of the fauna and, about 830 species of plants, which will soon disappear have been identified. All subservible taxa went clustering, divided into 5 classes. They are divided into vulnerable, disappearing, insufficiently known, unapproachable and rare type. Belonging to a certain class depends on the stage of threat and measures taken.

This section presents the taxa that are included in the lists of the Red Book. It should be noted that compared to previous years, there is a significant decrease in the population of many animals and plants.

Here are the taxa listed in the Red Book. They face partial or complete extinction. These types are under guard, and hunting for them is punishable by high cash fines.

Ukraine is one of the richest countries in the world in terms of natural resources. She is an ideal habitat for many species. However, deforestation continues, resources are depleted, and the right conditions for the detention of some subspecies are reduced.

In this regard, measures are taken to preserve and restore the resources of nature and the environment in order to stop the decrease in the taxi population in nature. The Red Book serves as an official document that includes species that threatens a special danger.

The protection of nature in the modern world makes requirements for the protection of the needy representatives of the flora and fauna. If nothing is done, the population of species will be rapidly decreasing.

The rarest taxes are included in a special list and are under supervision. Data is controlled by special organizations. Hunts for representatives of fauna included in the Red Book, is prohibited by law. Unlawful handling of these types is punishable in accordance with established laws.
