Description
A tricolor nightlight belongs to the kingdom of animals such as chords and subtype vertebrates. This is a mammal of the screeching detachment. This type of bat applies to the genus of nights. She prefers open landscapes, mainly arid. As a shelter, he chooses caves, attics, grottoes. Representatives of this species easily get along with each other. Often they form mixed colonies with horseshoes.
Like all bats, a tricolor nightlight goes hunting with the onset of twilight. She catches prey right in the air, or on the surface of the foliage. Her diet is quite diverse. Where it lives
The tricolor night spent has a wide habitat: from Central Europe and Mediterranean to the Caucasus, Central Asia and the Middle East. In Eurasia, a flying mouse of this species chooses the foothill areas for its residence, where there are caves.
Such mammals settle mainly in mountain forests at an altitude of 1800 m. above sea level. They also like parktype landscapes. Growing colonies, the number of which exceeds 300 individuals, settled in caves, grottoes or in the attics of abandoned buildings.
